1. Tell a story about a time you felt loved.

2. Does it mean more to you when someone shows up for you when you’ve done something great or when you feel like you’ve failed?

3. Who are the people in your life that you love? How do they show their love?

4. Does the idea of God knowing everything about you make you feel loved or insecure? Why?

5. If you think of God as a parent, what kind of imagery does that bring to mind for you?

6. What would change for you if you believed you could never lose God’s love?

7. Read 1 John 4:9-11, Why should it matter to us that God chose to love us first?

8. What are some kind words God might have for you when you can only think bad things about yourself?

9. Why is it so much easier to hold onto the things we regret than to remember how loved we are?

10. What can we do for each other as a group to remind one another that we are free to be loved?
